  1. So let me get this straight, the pilon was there first, then came the road (sounds like the lyrics from Dire Straits’ Telegraph Road!)? Or was it the other way round? Either way, duh!! I am going to have to link to this from my blog – too funny!

  2. I am amazed that this is such a common occurance here in China. They had a light post right in the middle of the new road they built on campus here.

    It is not so much that the obsticle was in the way, it was that they built the road around it instead of removing it to begin with.
